Trip back home
This was our last day in Portugal. We woke up at 7 AM, went to breakfast and packed our suitcases. We had one last look at the foggy view from the campus and then at 9.30 AM a campus driver took us to the Porto airport. As the teachers already left Portugal a week ago, we had to get everything at the airport sorted by ourselves. We were a bit nervous, but everything went smoothly. Our flight was at 1 PM so we had more than enough time. We took off and landed in Frankfurt at 5 PM (Slovenian time). Our flight from Frankfurt to Ljubljana was at 8 PM, so we had enough time to grab lunch. Then we waited. We distracted ourselves with playing cards. We landed in Ljubljana at 10 PM. There we waited for our suitcases, when we got them we went outside, where our families were waiting for us to take us home. We were all quite sad to be leaving Portugal, but at the same time, we couldn’t wait to get home. The trip to Portugal was a great experience, and a beautiful country to see. We all enjoyed it very much.
